This book is truly one of a kind! Full disclosure: I am a friend of Jim Taylor's. However, I purchased the book for myself and read it before I wrote this review. I believe that I am leaving an accurate reflection of the content of this book. First of all, as a resident of Indiana, I was truly inspired! To know that God has spoken special words of promise over our state is something that encourages me greatly. Additionally, this book is set up in such a way that the different prophetic words are broken down in very unique ways. This allows the reader to prayerfully process each word in their own method and style. I truly have never seen a book break down prophetic words in this manner before- from how the word lines up with Scripture, to the echoes we hear of this word in the world, and how this word meets us in our personal lives as well. My favorite sections of each chapter were the parts that detail how this word has been operating in our state or the world up until now. Some powerful stories, told by a powerful storyteller, are enough to leave the reader inspired to pursue the fulfillment of the word in its entirety. Finally, there is ample space, charts, graphs, and probing questions for you to detail things that God shows you as you process this material. Jim has done us all a huge favor in researching, recording, and breaking down these powerful prophetic promises for the state of Indiana. To me, this book is not something I read one time and put on the shelf. It's a prayer manual, a constant reminder of the unfinished business of the Kingdom in Indiana. I'm so glad I purchased a copy of my own!
